Rio Info: These new shorter sink tips are looped on both ends, color coded and
come in 3 sink rates: Clear slow sinking Intermediate, Type 3 and Type
6. For line sizes #4 through #9 (45 to 95 grains)
These are the brand new Rio 10' sink tips designed for use with the
new Rio Scandi Short Versitip head but can be used on any Skagit or
multi-tip Spey line or multi-tip single hand line.
Many fly fishers feel that the 15' sink tips are too long for some
situations so they were buying larger/heavier size sink tips and cutting
them down to around 10'.
